The variable speed drives Altivar Process Altivar 630 (ATV630) is intended for control of three-phase asynchronous and synchronous electric motors with magnets. They have specialized functions that control the pumps.

Altivar Process Low voltage AC drives allow fuller use of the hardware capabilities and reduce operating costs due to optimization of energy consumption and comfort of the use.

ATV 630 drives with protection degree IP 21, IP 54 or IP 55 are used in process plants of such industries as:
- water treatment, water supply and sanitation;
- oil and gas industry;
- metallurgy and mining;
- food industry.

There are large number of application functions, that is integrated in Altivar Process 630, in particular:
1) Safety features and automatic control, matching the requirements of most process plants.
2) Additional communication modules, allowing using frequency converters in the systems of automation, built with the use of basic industrial protocols.
3) Number of configurable inputs / outputs that sufficient to implement most of the control schemes.
4) Intuitive algorithm of commissioning with the use of graphical terminal.

5) Local and remote control settings with the use of the embedded web server.
6) Power saving modes, low distortion of the mains.
7) Built-in EMC filter.

Depending on execution, Altivar Process drives are offered in a few variants according to the type of mounting and with the different protection degrees:
-    Drives for a wall mounting with protection class IP 21, range of power from 0.75 kW to 110 kW (200/240 V), with the possibility of installation without shell, or with installation in the Cabinet.
-    Drives for wall mounting, degree of protection IP 55, range of power from 0.75 kW to 90 kW (380/480 V), ready for operation in adverse conditions indoors or outdoors to reduce the length of motor cable. They can be equipped with Vario isolator.
-    Floor standing drives, with protection degree IP 21 and IP 54, range of power from 110 kW to 315 kW (380/440 V), the complete device with minimal dimensions, has possibility of application in the ordinary or unfavorable environment conditions.
The Atv630 drives optimize the consumption of electric power, diminishing the value of consumable network current. In addition, due to the function of "Stop&go" frequency converters Altivar630 reduce power consumption in standby mode up to 60% due to the automatically disabling of certain functions (power of the power unit, fans, illumination of the graphic display terminal, and other).
Also these drives are developed in accordance with the requirements of all European directives for the protection of the environment.
