ABB M2AA are asynchronous motors of general industrial use, which are available in an aluminum design and with a squirrel cage closed rotor. Engines have increased energy productivity and lifetime of pumps, conveyors, compressors and other equipment. M2AA series motors are used in different industries, in power engineering, and public utilities. The motors are simple in construction and stable to transient mechanical stresses. The rotation speed at varied burdens remains at a stable level. The M2AA are available in a few versions, with flanges and combined. Engines designed for a supply voltage of 380 V AC with a frequency of 50 Hz. Level of protection is IP55.
