Magnetic absolute encoder

The magnetic absolute encoder belongs to the ELTRA absolute rotary encoder type. By looking at the binary code of an absolute rotary encoder, one can determine the absolute position of an object. For a magnetic shaft encoder, the markers are an array of magnetic sensors that pass over the magnet and determine the position of the magnetic poles.

ELTRA absolute magnetic encoder is designed with an innovative self-powered Energy Harvesting Technology. It allows multi-turn counting without batteries or gears, regardless of shaft speed, direction or power state.
