Elastic couplings
Elastic couplings of Eltra are important part for the transmission of rotatory motion to the encoder shaft. These couplings are accurate and made in aluminium alloy. They have cylindrical body on which there is a helical groove that determines torsional rigidity, the ability to compensate for slight shaft misalignments or to absorb small axial shifts of the shaft.
These couplings is distinguished by perfect balancing of the rotating body and no critical points subject to breakage. Also they are completely frictionless.
