Cylinder sensors are used for situation discovery of forcers in pneumatic toppers. They are immediately determined onto the drum. The circle lode affixed to the forcer is voluptuous via the case side of non-magnetisable fabric (e.g. aluminium, copper or rustproof steel). They can be corrected to nearly any T-slot, C-slot, pure-range, binding bar, combined section or trapezoidal spline cylinder.

An actuator is an electronic or electromechanical device designed to detect an effect in a calling signal.

Electric cylinders or electromechanical cylinders are particularly powerful rod actuators that differ from conventional actuators in most respects.
The electric cylinder is an electromechanical device in the form of a sliding telescopic cylinder.

The design of the electric cylinder is based on a ball screw or roller screw transmission and a servo drive motor (in simpler models, a conventional electric motor with a gearbox can be used), located in a robust housing with longitudinal stiffeners. In addition to power connectors, the servomotor has connectors for connecting a control bus, through which control commands and feedback signals are transmitted. Separate parts of the body are securely fastened together with a flange connection. All this provides electromechanical cylinders with outstanding performance: lifting capacity up to 25 t and speed up to 1.5 m/s. Thus, electric cylinders combine the best qualities of hydraulics and pneumatics.

The main areas of application of cylinder position sensors:

  • Replacement of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Loading and unloading works
  • Actuators for absorbers, goal flaps, gates and valves
  • Drive gates, doors and other structures
  • Conveyors
  • food industry
  • Pulp and paper industry
  • Electronics and semiconductor manufacturing
  • precision engineering
  • Test equipment
  • Metallurgical industry
  • Manufacturing industry
  • Transport, construction and agricultural technician

Electric cylinders in terms of the set of basic operating parameters significantly outperform other types of linear drives. Practice shows that in many cases the effectiveness and duration of work is manifested.

The superiority of electromechanical cylinders is most evident when they are used to replace hydraulics and pneumatics. They are much easier to operate, manage and maintain, do not require the installation of auxiliary equipment, and consume less electricity. In addition, electric cylinders are also more favorable, since they do not tend to have loud running sound, oil escape, air pollution, etc.

IFM cylinder position sensors

  • Self-blocking clip for fast mounting and light control
  • Readily satisfy fall out of the upper into a spline
  • Appropriate for the majority usually used C- and T-slots
  • Versions with jumpers or communications rope
  • Wide series of pickups

Barrel detectors are used for state detecting of forcers in pneumatic rolls. They are immediately fixed onto the roll. The hooplode affixed to the forcer is perceive across the housing side of non-magnetisable mark. They may be corrected to most any T-slot, C-gap, tidy-range, tie stem, joint shape or trapezoidal spline drum.
