IFM I/O (input/output) modules connect both binary and analog devices directly to the mobile controller. Such devices are adjusted by a dedicated CAN interface.
This equipment control and configure industrial drives and mechanisms, as well as output the received data. Manufacturer’s product line includes devices with digital, analog and frequency inputs that can operate with PMW or digital outputs.
There are several IFM Electronic IO module series:
- With M12 connector
- With central plug
- For industrial control cabinets
IO modules with M12 connector have easily connection and belong to CompactModule series. They have a robust housing with IP67 protection level and high resistance against shock and vibrations.
IO modules with central plug of SmarModule series have a central plug with polarity-protection. As previous models, they have a robust housing and IP67 enclosure rating.
IO modules for industrial control cabinets belongs to CabinetModule series. Their connection is carried out by central plug with polarity protection. Such devices operate as controllers of operation panels and other equipment in control cabinet.
