Frequency converters are designed to convert the main current of an industrial power network into a current with specified parameters for the operation of an asynchronous electric motor.
The use of a frequency converter makes it possible to supply power with the necessary parameters to any kind of electric motor of working equipment. Depending on the model, frequency converters are designed to operate in a single-phase or three-phase AC network of various voltages with a standard frequency of 50-60Hz. At the output of the device, it is possible to obtain a current of a changed frequency with similar or changed voltage indicators.

Variable Speed Drive Altivar 32
The Schneider Electric Altivar 32 VFD frequency converter is designed to control asynchronous and synchronous motors with a power supply from 200 to 500 V and power from 0.18 to 15 kW.
The new frequency converter Altivar 32 (ATV32) is made in an ultra-thin case with a width of 45 or 60 mm (up to 4 kW), it is possible to connect directly to the circuit breaker with the magnetic release - TeSys GV2L
Thanks to such compact housing, the ATV32 inverter will save a lot of space when located in control cabinets, where you often have to find free space for installing the necessary components.
The Altivar 32 inverter comes pre-installed with Modbus or CANopen interfaces. Other fieldbus interfaces can be accessed by installing a module with the appropriate connectors.
The ATV 32 is packed with a variety of advanced features such as built-in Bluetooth for remote programming and settings, additional electrical safety features, function diagram blocks, and more to make the new ATV 32 easy and efficient to operate.
Altivar 32 allows you to use different control profiles for three-phase asynchronous motors. In addition, there is a separate control profile for a permanent magnet synchronous motor.
Variable speed drive Altivar 32 is compatible with the OEM (Original equipment manufacturer) software SoMachine, which allows you to design and configure the elements necessary for the production mechanism in one program space.
Altivar 32 Benefits

- Doors (GDL) and Protective Stop 1 (SS1).
Applications
The Schneider ATV32 frequency converter has features suitable for the most common applications, such as:
