Siemens micromaster 420 is a series of frequency inverters suitable for industrial 3-phase AC motors.

Main features of mm420 drives are:micromaster 420 photo

  • Easy exploitation;
  • Flexible configuration due to modular design;
  • Variety of models from one-phase 120W to three-phase 11kW input;
  • Universality: devices are suitable both stand-alone controlling apps and automation systems.
  • Complete motor and converter protection;
  • Speed: the inverter responds quickly to signals and quickly switches frequencies for silent motor operation.
  • In its preset parameters, it can be used for numerous basic motor control apps.

Main advantages of micromaster 420 series are: using innovation IGBT technology, digital microprocessor control and high-levelled protection system.

Converters are also has slip compensation integrated, can be automatically restarted in case of power failure or violation of the mode. Frequency converters of that series have a built-in PI controller and V/f control, with parameterizable initial voltage.

These industrial series of frequency inverters are high-speed and easily controlled devices that fit every automatic motor control system.

Siemens micromaster 420 was replaced by Sinamics g120 /g120c drives which have higher speed and efficiency.
