Sinamics DC Master inverter photoSiemens Sinamics DCM is a range of converters created for work with variable-speed DC motors. The drives of the DC Master series combine the experience of the previous generation of SIMOREG DC frequency inverters with the modern functions of the SINAMICS family.

Main characteristics of DCM drive system are:

  • Suitability to control DC motors with power from 6 to 30.000 kW.
  • A high degree of integration in any industrial automation systems .
  • Expandability due to the modular concept.
  • Availability of a variety of ready-made function blocks for programming (DCC).
  • The power supply of the control board from a separate module 24VDC.
  • It is possible to supply drives with a current up to 125A from a single-phase network.
  • Simple setup and start-up procedure using the AOP30 operator panel (BOP20).
  • Rated power supply voltage of the power unit from 400 to 830 V.
  • Short and easy start-up due to the fully electronic parameterization of all components.

Specific features of Sinamics DCM are: wide operating temperature range, Insulated Power Section, microprocessor module including 7 analogue inputs; LED control panel AOP30 and basic operating panel (BOP20); advanced CUD; overvoltage protection module.
