Beckhoff EL1819 is a digital input terminal that receives 24 V binary control signals from the process level and transmits them to the higher-level automation unit in electronic format. The EtherCAT terminal includes 16 channels.

The status of their signals is indicated by LEDs. The power contacts are connected through. In the EL1819, the reference ground for all inputs is the 0V power pin.
