Mass Flow Meter by Burkert is a thermal sensor for determining the mass flow rate of gas consist of a heating element and temperature sensors. They are fitted either in the gas flow and outside this. A heating spiral raises the temperature of the gas, and temperature sensors control the quantity of heat removed. The quantity of heat removed is a yardstick of the actual mass gas flow consumption. If we look about the concept of mass flow, then it means mass, in other words the heft of the flowing medium. In this case, this is the weight of the gas passing through the appliance for a determined time period. The utilization of Mass Flow Meters is most suitable where high precision and replicability are necessary, e.g. In course of distillation, area treatment or in fuel cell technologies.
