Burkert Mass Flow Meters are temperature sensors for determining the mass flow rate of gas compose of a heating element and temperature sensors. They are positioned either in the gas stream and outside it. A heating spiral increase the temperature of the gas, and temperature sensors control the quantity of heat removed. The amount of heat removed is a criterion of the actual mass gas flow expenditure. If we talk about the notion of mass flow, in that case it means mass, i.e. The weight of the flowing milieu.
