Mass Flow Meters Burkert is a thermal sensor for determining the mass flow rate of gas consist of a heating element and temperature sensors. They are fitted both in the gas stream and outside this. A heating element raises the temperature of the gas, and temperature sensors control the amount of heat removed. The amount of heat removed is a criterion of the actual mass gas flow expenditure. If we consider about the notion of mass flow, then it means mass, in other words the heft of the flowing medium. In this case, this is the weight of the gas passing through the appliance for a definite time period. The use of Mass Flow Meters is most suitable where high exactness and reproducibility are necessary, in other words in course of distillation, area handling or in fuel cell technologies.
