Burkert Type 8626 Mass Flow Controllers are succinct devices that control the mass flow of gases. They command the set flow rate regardless of hurdle for example drop in pressure or temporary resistance to flow. Flow controllers consist of a flow meter, an electronic module, as well as a proportional valve. Inline sensors work in the CTA mode (constant temperature anemometers). In this case, the electrical heating resist and the measuring resistance are adjusted to a constant temperature difference. Both resistances are immediately in the gas stream; and three resistances are out of it. All resistances are united in an electric bridge. The first resistance in the fluid flow measures the temperature of the liquid. The second, low resistance, is heated continuously to sustain a clearly defined excess temperature relative to the liquid temperature. Owing to the fact that the resistances are located directly in the channel, the devices have excellent dynamics: the time for reaction when changing a given or actual value is hundredths of a millisecond. In addition, the sensor is almost not polluted.
