Burkert type 280 is a servo assisted solenoid valve supplied as normally open or normally closed.

Burkert type 280 is a servo assisted solenoid valve supplied as normally open or normally closed (function A and B).
- Function A - the valve is closed by a spring supported by the pressure of the medium. In the de-energized state, the pressure over the servo diaphragm pushes downward and closes the valve. When voltage is applied, the volume above the diaphragm is released through the pilot valve, the diaphragm opens the valve.
- Function B (normally closed) has the opposite effect. It is important that the control medium is vented to atmosphere through the pilot valve when the valve is de-energized. The epoxy coating effectively dissipates the heat generated by the coil.
Features:
- A differential pressure of 0.5 bar is required for full opening.
- Connections G 1/4, G 3/8, G 1/2.
