Pneumatic rotary actuator

The Burkert 2053 pneumatic actuator allows automatic actuation of ball and butterfly valves. The linear movement of the drive piston is deflected into the rotational movement of the drive shaft by 90°. The anchor interface is designed in accordance with the ISO 5211 standard.

In addition, the rotary actuator can be combined with position feedback sensors of the 8691/2/3/4 series. Single-acting actuators are returned to their original position by spring force, and double-acting actuators by compressed air.

The welded construction of the stainless steel body ensures a 100% maintenance-free drive. In general, the actuator is available in three sizes: P0 - P1 - P2. All three sizes offer extremely high closing torque despite their compact design. The air consumption per stroke cycle is very low due to the small cylinder volume. This offers significant energy saving potential.
