The Burkert 3270 is a general purpose, direct-acting motorized shut-off valve. It is used as a regulating device in control loops. This compact and durable valve is driven by a linear stepper motor. The built-in electronics unit simplifies integration into the technological process, as a result, there is no need for additional executive modules.
Thanks to the elastomer seat seal, the valve closes tightly up to a certain nominal pressure class DN. If a power failure occurs, the valve remains in its current position in an energy efficient manner. With an external buffer module, a special fail-safe position can be achieved in the event of a power failure. The motor draws almost no current when open or closed. As a result, the energy consumption of the plant can be significantly reduced and, therefore, make it more efficient. Status LED visually indicates valve status and position.
