Type 8189 is a level meter with rope or rod probe or coaxial probe for continuous level measurement. It is designed for industrial applications for measuring liquids in a variety of industrial processes, but thanks to the new rod made of stainless steel 1.4435 with a surface finish of Ra <0.76 µm, its main target application is for containers in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Even under process conditions such as strong vapor formation, density fluctuations or changes in dielectric constant do not affect the measurement accuracy.
