Eltra optical multiturn encoder EAM 58 63 A B C D E features a solid shaft and diameter according to PROFIBUS DP. Multi-rotation encoders measure the rotation degree through 360 and monitor the shaft speed of the encoder utilizing a singular word for all item and number of turnovers. Eltra encoder with Profibus DP diameter has a fine resolution (8192 Pos/rev) and improved performance similar to the standard version, but joins the additional capacity and versatility typical of a Profibus DP grid.
