The multi-turn optical encoder EAM 58 63 A B C D E has a solid shaft and diameter conforming to PROFIBUS DP standard. Multi-rotary encoders sense the degree of rotation within 360 and monitor the total number of revolutions of the encoder’s shaft utilizing an unusual term for each item and revolutions. Equipped with the Profibus DP Eltra encoder has a fine resolution (8192 Pos/rev) and higher efficiency as the basic model, but adds the increased volume and versatility typical of a Profibus DP grid.
