Eltra optical multiturn encoder EAM 58 -EAM 63 features a full range of shaft and diameter compliant with the PROFIBUS DP version. Multi-rotary encoders track the rate of rotation within 360 and monitor the number of total revolutions of the encoder’s shaft using a special term for all location and revolutions. Equipped with the Profibus DP Eltra encoder has a high resolution (8192 Pos/rev) and higher performance as the basic version, but adds the increased volume and versatility typical of a Profibus DP network.
