Rack encoders with automatic backlash recovery. This type of encoder was created to ease linear inspection in place of linear incremental system and to bridge the measuring gap over long distances. Encoder housed in a solid aluminum housing is developed with a preloading system which give the auto restoration of backlash between pinion and rack.
