EH17M is a series of miniature encoders from Eltra designed for installation on compact electric motors—both AC and DC—as well as stepper motors and other systems with limited mounting space.

These encoders provide high positioning accuracy and reliability when operating in confined spaces. This model features a three-channel output (A/B/Z) with a resolution of up to 1024 pulses per revolution and supports a power supply of up to 24 VDC.

The absence of bearings prevents mechanical wear, significantly increasing the service life of the device. These encoders are compact, easy to install, and capable of operating with output pulse frequencies up to 100 kHz.
