Eltra encoder EH-EF 80 P series monitors rotary, velocity and acceleration by counting the amount of pulses generated by the circuit outputs. This encoder has a version for high load, high-speed and hall effect versions. It counts the number of impulses sent from the output circuit and determines rotation and accelerating indicators. They are reduced only to give change data, so the encoder additionally demands a movement counting device.
