Eltra EH-EF 80P encoder series monitors rotary, velocity and accelerating motion by sensing the number of impulses generated by the circuit outputs. The EH - EF 80 P series has a range of heavy duty, high-speed and Hall-effect versions. The device measures the quantity of impulses coming by the output circuit and detects rotational and acceleration values. These encoders are constrained to give change data, so the encoder extra requires a movement counting unit.
