Eltra encoder EH-EF 80 P series monitors rotation, speed and acceleration by reading the amount of impulses generated by the circuit outputs. This series has a variety of overload, high-speed and Hall-effect versions. The device measures the number of impulses sent by the output chain and measures rotation and accelerating indicators. These encoders are restricted to give variation information only, so the encoder extra requires a motion-tally device.
