Eltra encoder EH-EF 80 P series controls rotation, velocity and accelerating motion by counting the amount of impulses sent by the circuit outputs. This series has a range of heavy duty, high speed and Hall-effect encoders. The device measures the amount of pulses coming by the output circuit and measures rotary and acceleration indicators. The EH-EF 80P are constrained to report motion information only, so the encoder requires an extra movement counting unit.
