Eltra EH-EF 80P encoder models monitors rotary, speed and acceleration by reading the amount of pulses delivered by the output circuit. This encoder has a variety of overload, high speed and Hall-effect versions. The device measures the amount of pulses coming from the output circuit and measures rotary and acceleration values. They are limited only to report motion data, so the encoder requires an additional motion-counting unit.
