Potentiometer encoder is an adjustable device capable to share an electrical current. Actually it is a resistor that is changed. The working principle is founded on computing the variation in impedance produced by the displacement of the object in question inside the current circuit. Potentiometers are composed of a lead wire or metal layer wrapped in an isolation carrier and a moving contact that shifts across the conductor.
