Waterpilot FMX21 Hydrostatic Pressure Sensor
A pressure and level transmitter with a threaded process connection or a hanging clamp.
- Overview +
- Comments +
The FMX21 transmitter consists of an immersion probe containing an electronic module and a diaphragm made of ultra-pure ceramics manufactured using patented Ceraphire technology, and a flexible cable.
Optionally, the transmitter can be equipped with a Pt100 sensor for measuring the medium temperature, as well as a housing with a built-in TMT182 transmitter for converting the Pt100 signal to 4...20 mA HART.
Waterpilot transmitters employ the capacitive pressure measurement principle. The hydrostatic pressure of the water column acts on the ceramic measuring diaphragm, the deformation of which causes a change in capacitance at the input of the electronic circuit. The electronic circuit generates a standardized frequency-modulated output signal of 4...20 mA HART.
