The FMR52 radar sensor from Endress+Hauser belongs to MICROPILOT family and designed for level measurement in aggressive liquids or liquids with high hygiene requirements.

The device received such a recommendation for use due to the horn antenna, which is filled with PTFE and can be flush mounted.

The device is excellently suited for applications in the pharmaceutical and food industries – approved by SMEBPE, USP Class VI, 3A and EHEDG. This sensor is also designed for non-contact continuous level measurement of pastes, slurries and liquids. Measurement of temperature, medium, gas or vapor interlayer does not affect the measurement process in any way.

The main advantages of the FMR 52:

  • has both hardware and software software designed according to IEC61508 standard, safety level up to SIL 3.
  • maintains reliable measurement even when product parameters and operating conditions change.
  • quick and easy commissioning, diagnostics and maintenance are provided Histo ROM data management concept.
  • Innovative Multi-EchoTracking technology ensures high reliability even with obstacles in the signal path.
  • Cost-efficient and safe operation is ensured throughout the entire work cycle thanks to Heartbeat technology .
  • Always integrated with control systems and intuitive menus.
  • Flush plated flange mounting, process connection for hygienic applications.< /li>
  • temperature value: - 40 - + 200°C.
  • pressure value: - 1 - + 25 bar.
  • maximum measurement: 40 m.
  • accuracy: ± 2mm.
  • international certificates for use in hazardous areas, marine certificates, overfill protection.
  • accuracy: 2mm.
