The RN221N active barrier supplies a current transmitter, if necessary even in hazardous areas, then transmits the signal with galvanic isolation. With optional HART® monitoring, the status of the transmitter is monitored. In the event of an error, a relay on the RN221N issues an alarm. The relay must be actively reset. Thus, even very brief errors can be easily located.
