The popular IFM ki0205 capacitive level switch has a simple potentiometer setting of the sensing range.

The ki0205 capacitive level sensors made by IFM are very popular in industrial plants and especially in the food sector. Where there are loose materials and liquids capacitive level sensors obediently serve engineers, but only through non-metallic walls, i.e. plastic, glass and their varieties.
It comes with a combined AC/DC stage and C terminal box that can be rotated 90°. Programmable normally open / normally closed output function. High noise immunity.
