The optical sensor of5012 IFM is used to detect various objects by receiving reflected light from the emitter.
It is used as a diffuse reflection sensor. It has a threaded housing, size m12, for which a reliable material of the high-quality metal is used. Operates at voltages ranging from 10-36 DC. The output is pnp with light/darkening sensing. The device emits infrared light.
