Fibre optic sensor

An optical fiber sensor is a small device in which optical fiber is used both as a data line and as a sensitive element capable of detecting changes in various quantities. The electrical part of the sensor is located in an accessible and safe place, and the receiver and transmitter are placed directly in the detection zone. The light signal is transmitted to the amplifier via fiber optic cable.
