Pepperl Fuchs NJ30 sensors

Pepperl Fuchs NJ30 sensors are a line of fixed working distance inductive sensors developed by Pepperl+Fuchs. NJ30 sensors are designed to detect metal objects in industrial and automated systems.

NJ30 Datasheet:

• Operating mode: normally closed (NC)
• Output type: NAMUR
• Working distance equation:
• sn = 30 mm (for installation in a non-docking enclosure)
• sa = 0 ... 24.3 mm (when installed in a mating housing)
• rAl = 0.4 (distance reduction factor for aluminum objects)
• rCu = 0.3 (distance reduction factor for copper objects)
• r304 = 0.85 (distance reduction factor for 304 stainless steel objects)
• Output type: 2-wire
• Rated voltage: Uo = 8.2 V (Ri is approximately equal to 1 kΩ)
• Switching frequency: f = 0 ... 150 Hz
• Current consumption:
• in the absence of an object: not less than 3 mA
• in the presence of an object: no more than 1 mA

NJ30+U1

• Sensors with a normally closed output and a supply voltage of 8.2 V.

• Sensors with normally closed output and 24 V supply voltage.

NJ30+U3

• Sensors with a normally open output and a supply voltage of 8.2 V.
• Suitable for applications where an action is required to be initiated upon detection of an object.
• They have a wide operating temperature range from -25 to +70 °C.
• They are available in various types and sizes of enclosures.

NJ30+U4

• Detectors with a normally open output and 24 V supply voltage.
• Designed for use in systems with a high level of interference.
• They have a wide operating temperature range from -40 to +70 °C.
• They are available in various types and sizes of enclosures.
