The asynchronous motor Simotics M (Main motor) is produced for production use to work with high performance and less service. The Siemens asynchronous motor destined for inverter working is smaller and has an upper power density than a standard 3-phase asynchronous engine. These motors have incremental encoders for rate control and feedback apparatus for positioning objective. Operation without an encoder is as well possible for simpler tasks.
