The Sirius 3RW40 soft starter is designed for high power asynchronous motors (up to 250 kW). The device provides easy start-up, protects the motor from overloads, reduces power rate, cheaper than utilize of the equipment. These devices apply features out-and-outer to this power diapason: semiconductor engine overload security and built-in protection devices, adjustable current qualification and 2-phase control method. The Soft starters 3RW40 are part of the SIRIUS modular system. Consequently, they have pinpoint sizes and connection schemes. Due to its especially compact dimensions, SIRIUS 3RW40 soft starters are half the dimension of star-delta starters, thus they take up limited space in the monitoring cabinet. Together with the contactor, they are applied as protective infinite combinations for electric engines.
