Soft starters 250 kW are appropriate for standard 3-phase applications and are allotted for soft start/stop of 3-phase induction engines. They prevent the inrush current and torque that happen when applying star-delta starters. The Siemens 3RW40 soft starter is appointed with optimum serviceability. Fitted bypass contact system reduces energy losses in operation, whereby the components element does not overheat. On-off time can be set overload using 4-step rotary switch. Thanks to the controllable current limitation, the motor is reliably covered even from a sudden increase in current strength. The 3 LEDs are used to mapping the operating mode, invalid trip times (trip class), no load, device failure. Main typical applications: construction machines, air conditioning systems, conveyors, chillers, working mechanisms, mixers.
