The Sirius 3RW40 soft starter is intended for high power asynchronous motors (250 kW). The device provides easy start, allows you to protect the engine from overloads, reduces power expenditure, cheaper than use of the facilities. The data devices are equipped with features out-and-outer to this output range: semiconductor motor overload defense and built-in appliance protection, controllable current limitative and 2-phase control technique. The soft starter Siemens 3RW40 are part of the SIRIUS modular system. Consequently, they have identical sizes and wiring schemes. Thanks to its special compact size, SIRIUS 3RW40 soft starters are half the size of star-delta starters, thereby they take up limited space in the control cabinet. Together with the contactor, they are applied as safety-free starting conjunction for starting engines.
