The Soft starter Sirius 3RW40 is intended for high power asynchronous motors (up to 250 kW). Siemens Soft starter give easily start-up, protects the engine from overloads, reduces the current consumption, which do apply of devices cheaper. The data models are equipped with features unusual to this power diapason: semiconductor engine overload security and inbuilt arrangement protection, adjustable current limiting and 2-phase control technique (polarity balance). The Sirius 3RW40 are sections of the SIRIUS modular system. As a result, they have pinpoint sizes and wiring diagrams. Thanks to their especially dense dimensions, SIRIUS 3RW40 soft starters are half as much the dimension of star-delta starters, thus they take up minimum place in the switch cabinet. At the contactor, they are used as protective infinite union for electric engines.
