Soft starter SIRIUS 3RW40

Siemens Sirius 3RW40 is intended for high power 250 kW asynchronous motors. The device allows easily start, protects the motor against overload, lower the current rate, inexpensive than use of the facilities. The data models use features unique to this power diapason: solid-state engine overburden defense and integral appliance protection, adjustable current qualification and control the two-phase technique (polarity balance). The Sirius 3RW40 are the portion of the SIRIUS modular system. Consequently, they have identical dimensions and connection schemes. Due to its especially compact size, SIRIUS 3RW40 soft starters are half as much the dimension of star-delta starters, so they take up minimal space in the monitoring cabinet. At the contactor, they are applied as protective infinite union for electric engines.
