Siemens Soft starter 3RW40 is intended for high power 250 kW asynchronous engines. Siemens Soft starter provides easy start, protects the engine against overload, reduces the current rate, cheaper than utilize of the equipment. These models apply features unique to this capacity range: solid-state engine overload security and inbuilt protection devices, regulating current limiting and control the 2-phase technique. Siemens 3RW40 soft starters are part of the SIRIUS modular system. Consequently, they have identical dimensions and wiring diagrams. Due to their special compact dimensions, SIRIUS 3RW40 soft starters are half the size of star-delta starters, thus they take up limited place in the switch cabinet. Together with the contactor, they are utilized as safety-free starting union for starting engines.
