The Soft starter Sirius 3RW40 is intended for high power asynchronous motors (250 kW). Siemens Soft starter allow easy start-up, protects the motor against overload, lower power rate, cheaper than use of the equipment. The data models apply features unusual to this power range: solid-state engine overburden defense and inbuilt device protection, controllable current limiting and two-phase control method (polarity balance). Siemens 3RW40 soft starters are part of the SIRIUS modular system. As a result, they have pinpoint dimensions and connection schemes. Due to their special compact size, Siemens soft starters are half as much the dimension of star-delta starters, thus they take up minimal space in the control cabinet. At the contactor, they are utilized as safety-free starting union for starting engines.
