Soft starters at 400 V are fitting for standard 3-phase use and are designed for soft on/off of three-phase asynchronous motors. It's prevent the inrush current and torque caused by the use of "star-delta" starters. The Siemens 3RW40 soft starter is organized with optimal serviceability. The built-in shunt contact system diminishing the power losses within exploitation, whereby the components element does not super heat. Use time can be set overload tripping 4-step rotary switch. Thanks to the managed current limitation, the motor is reliably protected yet from a surprise growth in current strength. Three LEDs are used to display the possible errors, invalid trip times (trip class), no load, overheating. Main typical applications: construction machines, presses, assembly lines, chillers, working mechanisms, mixers.
