Siemens Sirius 3RW40 up to 250 kW are appropriate for standard 3-phase use and are designed for soft start/stop of three-phase asynchronous engines. It's avoid the inrush current and torque that occur when using "star-delta" starters. Soft starters are equipped with optimal serviceability. The built-in shunt contact system decreases the power losses in exploitation, so the components element does not warm-up. Use time can be set overload using four-step rotary switch. Thanks to the adjustable current limit, the engine is surely covered even from a sudden growth in amperage. The 3 LEDs are used to display the possible errors, invalid trip times, phase failure, overheating. Main typical applications: fans, air conditioning systems, escalators, chillers, centrifuges, mixers.
