The Sirius 3RW40 soft starter up to 250 kW (at 400 V) are suitable for standard three-phase applying and are designed for soft on/off of 3-phase asynchronous motors. It's avoid the inrush current and torque that occur when applying "star-delta" starters. Soft starters are equipped with optimal functionality. Fitted shunt contact system diminishing the power losses during working, whereby the components do not super heat. With the 4-step rotary switch, the overload trip time may be set. Full controllable amperage limit, the engine is reliably defended even from a surprise increase in amperage. The 3 LEDs are utilized to mapping the operating mode, invalid trip times (trip class), phase failure, device failure. Main typical applications: fans, air conditioning systems, assembly lines, chillers, working mechanisms, mixers.
