Pressure Reducing Valve

Spirax Sarco 25P-BP is a steam pressure reducing valve designed to provide controlled downstream pressure in industrial steam systems. It enables stable steam pressure regulation and supports efficient process operation.

The 25BP is NOT a safety valve

Sprax Sarco Type 25p is a high-performance, self-actuated pressure regulator designed for precision steam management. It utilizes an external sensing line to communicate downstream pressure back to the pressure pilot, which then modulates the main valve opening to consistently maintain the desired set pressure. When steam demand ceases, the main valve ensures a tight seal, meeting ANSI/FCI 70-2 Class IV shut-off standards.

Sarco 25p Primary Applications:

1.  Pressure Reduction: Functions as a reliable and precise regulator to drop high-pressure steam supplies down to the most efficient operating levels for connected equipment.
2.  Equipment Protection: Acts as a safety barrier to prevent downstream machinery from being exposed to dangerously high pressures.

To accommodate different pressure requirements, the 25P utilizes three specific color-coded pilot valve springs:

•   Yellow Spring: For ranges between 3 to 30 psi (0.21 to 2.1 bar).
•   Blue Spring: For ranges between 20 to 100 psi (1.4 to 6.9 bar).
•   Red Spring: For ranges between 80 to 250 psi (5.5 to 17.2 bar).
