Spirax Sarco AEL5 series from Spirax Sarco comprises reversible electric actuators with linear motion output. The units are available with multiple power supply options including 230 Vac, 115 Vac, 24 Vac and 24 Vdc. In the standard configuration the actuator accepts Valve Motor Drive (VMD) signals, while an optional internal positioner board allows operation with analogue control signals such as 4-20 mA or 2-10 Vdc (note that the 24 Vdc version does not support the positioner board).
Actuators may be supplied with or without potentiometers. Versions equipped with potentiometers include a standard 1 k? feedback resistor, suitable for use with positioning systems or as feedback for VMD control. Optional accessories include auxiliary limit switches and anti-condensation heaters. Using the appropriate valve adapters and mounting flanges, the actuators can be installed on 2-way Spira-Trol valves and 3-way QL33, QL43, QL63 and QL73 control valves.
