Blowdown Controller

Spirax Sarco BC3150 is an electronic boiler blowdown controller designed to automatically monitor the concentration of dissolved solids (TDS) in boiler water and control surface blowdown in steam boilers.
The controller measures the electrical conductivity of the water using a conductivity sensor and automatically controls the blowdown valve, maintaining a set TDS level.

This allows:

• to prevent scale formation;
• to increase boiler efficiency;
• to reduce energy and water losses;
• to ensure stable operation of the steam system.

The device is used in industrial steam boilers and process units and works in conjunction with Spirax Sarco CP series conductivity sensors.
The controller features digital parameter adjustment, temperature compensation, and the ability to transmit signals to an automation system.
